However, an unexpected challenge arose when the vehicle displayed a message stating: “Engine oil is below the minimum level. Please add one liter of oil immediately.”

Instead of using the conventional dipstick, the owner had to rely on the vehicle’s built-in information system to check the oil level. Following the alert, approximately seven liters of oil were added before the system registered a satisfactory oil level. This incident reignited debate over BMW’s decision years ago to eliminate the traditional dipstick in favor of electronic sensors.
